It consists of eight articles: Purpose and function (1); normative losses of potable water (2); personal consumption of potable water (3); Inevitable use of potable water (4); Permitted technical use of potable water (5); Lack of balance of water consumption due to lack of meters (6); Rule for calculating the reduction trends of permitted technical use of potable water in the regulated period (7); and Approving and accounting normative losses (8). The Resolution also adopts Annex No. 1 entitled “Inevitable use of potable water from pipes”. The purpose of the Resolution is to provide general principles for calculating normative losses of potable water in the water supply system.
