Abstract

This Resolution approves the technical regulations on construction (reconstruction) and exploitation of those underground operations that are not related to mining. It consists of nine chapters: Scope of regulation and definitions (I); Personnel (II); General obligations imposed on operations (III); Maintenance of tunnels, ventilation (IV); Transport (V); Electrotechnical industry (VI); Fire protection, extinguishment and rescue operations (VII); Additional requirements (VIII); and Critical, non-critical violations (IX). The technical regulations apply to natural caves and activities within such caves. The regulations do not apply to underground objects of air, petroleum and petroleum products, transport and collection tunnels and subways.
