Abstract

Use of sardine and chinchilla nets is allowed to fish migratory fish only after the distance of one kilometre from the fixed lines. Absolutely prohibited to use the sardine net for luxe fishing (light attraction) at depth less than 20 fathoms. Absolutely prohibited to use chinchilla net at depth less than 25 fathoms. Absolutely prohibited to use the sardine and chinchilla net, day and night, from 1 July until 31 August, and from 1 December until 31 March every year. The net higher more than 20 fathoms is to be considered as chinchilla net. The mesh size of the chinchilla net must be more than 8 millimetres and the mesh size of the sardine net must be more than 6 millimetres.
