Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 defines requirements and conditions for the issuance of licences for the treatment of fruit insects by vapour heat, in particular: applications shall be submitted to the Ministry of Agricultural-Agricultural Wealth Department-Monitoring Bureau of Import, Export and Agricultural Quarantine; provision of equipment for the control of temperature and humidity, heat generation of air and vapour, air-cooling, sensors and compressors; keep records for treatment processes; sterilization; and, carrying out operations of sterilization by experts. Article 2 deals with procedures for the issuance of licences. Article 3 pertains to the withdrawal or renewal of licences. Article 4 entrusts the Agricultural Wealth Department to prepare a table for heat, humidity and time required for the sterilization.
