Abstract The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the filling up operations of lands covered with marine water in order to protect the environment. The present Resolution is composed of 14 articles. Article 1 prohibits filling up lands covered with marine water unless a previous authorization has been obtained. Articles 2-4 provide for the following: issuance of authorizations; documents to be provided with the application; and authorized engineering offices entrusted to carry out filling up operations. Articles 5-8 pertain to the following matters: filling up operations; validity of authorizations; and necessary measures to be taken for the protection of the environment.
