Abstract

This Resolution aims at regulating the use, flux and supply of water by owners of artesian wells and swimming pools. The present Resolution is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 imposes upon all owners of artesian wells and swimming pools existing in farms, industries and hotels the installation of counters with the objective to control the use of water. Article 2 imposes upon swimming pool owners the installation of equipment for turning on or off the water supply and for cleaning up water. Article 3 imposes upon swimming pool owners who use groundwater not to change water more than twice a year. Article 4 entrusts the employees of the Water Sources Department to control the aforementioned wells and pools. Article 5 specifies offences and penalties provided for in Article 20 of Legislative Decree No. 12 of 1980 regulating the use of groundwater.
