Abstract

This Resolution establishes the modalities of accreditation of natural and legal persons importing to the Republic of Tajikistan livestock, products of animal origin and animal feedstuffs. The aforesaid accreditation shall be legal document intended for registration of authorized business entities entitled to processing and handling of foodstuffs. Accreditation of processing, storage and shipping of livestock, alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs with a view of keeping and breeding livestock, poultry, fishes and bees shall include: (a) sanitary and veterinary inspection of farms, poultry farms, pastures, grasslands and melliferous fields for the presence of infectious and invasive diseases, pollution of soil, water and plants by toxic substances, pesticides and other harmful organisms; (b) availability of veterinary infrastructure and veterinary facilities; (c) performance of antiepizootic and preventive arrangements; (d) availability of veterinary certificates for animal feedstuffs and animal feed additives; (e) laboratory testing of quality and safety of animal feedstuffs and animal feed additives entering agricultural farms and poultry farms for storage; (f) quality and safety of veterinary drugs covered by compliance certificates; (g) regular clinical examination of livestock, poultry, fishes and bees; (h) performance of disinfection, disinfestation and deratization; (i) utilization or recycling of animal products obtained from sick animals; (j) availability and correctness of keeping veterinary documentation; (k) state of means of transport destined of transportation of livestock, poultry, alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs; (l) compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements for storage of alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs obtained from agricultural farms and poultry farms; and (m) legalization of accompanying veterinary documents for transportation of livestock, poultry, alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs.
