This Resolution enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution establishes the conditions for partnerships between the Government and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of an environmental nature or that have environmental conservation and preservation as one of their objectives in a regime of mutual cooperation, to achieve purposes of public interest preservation and conservation of terrestrial and marine flora and fauna protected by law and in the protected areas belonging to the National Network of Protected Areas of Cape Verde. This partnership is carried out through activities established in work plans, covering the following activities: Research, inventory and promotion of the conservation of sites of geological interest; Inventory of biodiversity and identification of endangered species; Identification and assessment of threats and mitigation and/or elimination measures; Evaluation of social and environmental strategies; Conservation and preservation of ecosystems, geodiversity and species; Promotion of sustainable fishing, agroecology and other forms of sustainable agriculture in protected areas or in their buffer zones; Promotion of capacity building on preservation and conservation of species, habitats and ecosystems as well as for the preservation and conservation of sites of scenic and geological interest, etc.
