Abstract This Resolution consisting of 8 Articles aims at establishing the Palestinian National Committee for Tangible and Intangible Heritage, chaired by the Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science,with the following main tasks (i) identifying national priorities for nominating heritage elements and sites, then presenting recommendations to the State President for approval; (ii) collaborating with relevant authorities to compile and organize documentation on both tangible and intangible heritage. This includes efforts to list them on global registers like the World and Islamic Heritage List, as well as joint Arab archives for tangible and intangible heritage; (iii) offering essential technical and financial aid for registration procedures with organizations like ISESCO and ALECSO; (iv) documenting cultural heritage, enhancing expertise, and building capacities required for preparing nomination files for both tangible and intangible heritage. Article 4 delineates the distinct responsibilities assigned to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
