Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 decrees the ban on the importation of live cows, goats and sheep from countries afflicted by bluetongue disease, except in case of the application of procedures provided for in the Animal Health Code of the World Organization of Animal Health concerning quarantine measures. Exporter countries shall declare clearly and unequivocally in the attached sanitary certificates that its disease free from blue tongue disease and shall specify the name of pesticides used for the disinfection of animals and means of transportation is given in articles 2 and 3.
