Abstract

This Resolution approves the members and the charter of the Environmental Protection Programme Commission. It consists of nine articles: General provisions (1); Main objectives of the Commission (2); Authority of the Commission (3); Composition of the Commission (4); Procedure of sessions and decision making (5); Members of the Commission (6); Working group of the Commission (7); Amendments to the charter of the Commission (9). The Commission develops recommendations within the environmental protection programme under the Law of Georgia on Environmental Liability. The Commission prepares recommendations for the Ministry of Georgia of Environmental Protection and Agriculture mainly about prevention/mitigation of significant environmental damage.
