Abstract This Resolution comprising 13 Articles establishes that (i) harming or jeopardizing the safety of water sources is strictly forbidden. In case any water source is impaired due to the actions of others, immediate action must be taken to restore it to its original condition, in cooperation with the licensee. Furthermore, the responsible party must provide compensation to the affected party for any harm or losses incurred; (ii) the licensee has to prepare a water safety plan, including the following key points (a) it has to be annually submitted to the Authority for approval; (b) should encompass operational and administrative controls, an emergency plan for ensuring water quality, an assessment of potential risks to water quality, and a methodology for managing these risks; (c) it should also include a table specifying monitoring areas and the number of subscribers in each area; (d) it should define the number and sources of samples to be examined and outline the mechanisms for sample examination, including their frequency; (iii) the licensee is obligated to maintain water quality; (iv) the water quality inspection requirements for the licensee, including a minimum number of monthly water samples, examinations, and compliance with approved specifications. If there are repeated complaints from subscribers or collective complaints regarding water quality, or upon the Authority's request, the licensee is required to conduct additional water quality examinations.
