Abstract This Resolution is composed of 19 articles. Article 1 considers diving centres as tourist places, therefore, prohibits their establishment, exploitation and management before obtaining necessary licences from the Ministry of Tourism. Articles 2 to 6 deal with the following matters: applications and necessary documents to be provided with them; fees; obligations of applicants; and, validity of licences. Articles 7 and 9 define conditions and requirements for places intended to be diving centres. Article 10 defines requirements for managers of diving centres. Article 11 imposes on diving centres to keep registers, equipment and sanitary certificates for visitors and workers. Article 13 defines obligations of diving centres which are: to lay down information and instructions for the protection of environment; to employ only authorized instructors; availability of communication means with hospitals and medical centres; and, availability of a library provided with international reference books and guidance regulating all diving activities. Article 15 entrusts the Minister of Tourism to revoke licences of diving centres. Article 16 gives 6 months to managers of diving centres for regulating their situations. Full text Arabic
