Abstract The aim of this Resolution is to protect workers from environmental dangers by guaranteeing a safe and secure place of work. The present Resolution is composed of 5 Chapters divided into 19 articles and 5 Annexes. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 provides for the objective and scope of this Resolution. Chapter 3 specifies the environmental requirements and conditions for the installation (place, area, construction materials, floor, heights, and ceilings). Chapter 4 pertains to environmental standards for activities in the place of work (airing, heat, illumination, noise, vibration). Chapter 5 contains general provisions. Annex I contains physical and vital standards in the place of work. Annex II lists the allowed limits of humid temperatures in the place of work.
