Abstract This Resolution is composed of 8 articles. Article 1 provides for the establishment of the Permanent Committee for Fishermen Affairs formed by a president, vice-president and representatives from all the concerned authorities. Article 3 deals with the following tasks and competences of the Committee: (a) to examine and study the problems and obstacles which professional fishermen have to face as well as propose solutions; and, (b) to study proposals presented by vessel owners for the development of professional fishing. Articles 4-6 define the meetings and the internal organization of the Committee, and the salary of the members of the Committee.
