Abstract This Resolution consists of 7 Chapters divided into 42 articles, and of 2 Annexes. Chapter I provides for the establishment of the Agricultural Quarantine Committee, and for its tasks and competences, including: control on quarantine measures; lay down of recommendations for implementing the Agricultural Quarantine Law; proposal of the agricultural quarantine policy; proposal of measures on agricultural quarantine; proposal for amending licences' forms and applications; set out of requirements and conditions for exemption of plan consignments; carry out research and studies related to plan and plant products; issuance of the Agricultural Quarantine Code. Chapter II defines customs exits and quarantine centres. Chapter III contains agricultural quarantine measures. Chapter IV and V provide for requirements and conditions necessary for the importation and exportation of plants and plant products. Chapter VI fixes and defines costs, taxes and expenses for carrying out agricultural quarantine measures. Chapter VII contains general and final provisions. Annex 1 lists local agricultural pests and diseases. Annex 2 lists prohibited agricultural pests and diseases.
