Abstract These Rules for labor protection in agriculture and fisheries establish the requirements for labour protection when performing work related to crop production, animal husbandry, primary processing of crop products, animal husbandry, production of dairy products intended as agricultural work and fisheries management. The labour protection requirements contained in these Rules are aimed at ensuring healthy and safe working conditions for workers engaged in agricultural work and work related to fisheries, and apply to employers regardless of their organizational and legal forms and forms of ownership, that carry out agricultural work and work related to the management of fisheries. When organizing the performance of agricultural work and work related to the management of fisheries, the employer is obliged to ensure safety during operation of the territory, capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises, fields, reservoirs, structures, hydraulic agricultural machines, machines and equipment for animal breeding, poultry breeding and manufacturing of feedstuffs, means of mechanization, small boats, as well as in the conduct of technological processes, application in production of materials, chemicals.
