Abstract This Resolution approves the Executive Biannual Plan for Management of Fisheries Resources for the period 1 April 2016 to 31 December 2017. This Plan, consisting of 10 sections, is mandatory and universal, and its measures are applicable to all agents and fishing operators, identifying the different fishing methods and gears of industrial and artisanal fisheries. It also applies for foreign fishing, recreational fishing, sea cucumber harvesting and live bait fishing, setting the measures applied to fisheries by regulating the implementation of the Fishery Resources Management Plan, and the licensing programme, as well as monitoring, review and evaluation of the Executive Biannual plan 2016-2017.
