Abstract

This Resolution approves the technical regulation on methods of sampling and analysis (research) for determining nitrates in food. It consists of eight articles: Purpose and scope (1); Definitions (2); Sampling and preparation (3); Packaging and transporting laboratory samples (4); Sealing, labeling of sample and various types of batches (5); General provisions on sampling (6); Sampling from a plot of land (7); and Sampling from spinach placed on the market, lettuce leaves, baby foods, food produced based on cereals, and food for babies and food for infants and young children (8).
