Abstract This Decree is composed of 5 articles. It shall be prohibited to import living poultry, eggs for eating or for hatching and frozen poultry meat from countries afflicted by poultry influenza (art. 1). The Animal Health Department will publish periodically, or when necessary, the name of countries afflicted by poultry influenza according to the bulletin published by the competent international authorities (art. 2). Any consignment coming from afflicted countries must be immediately destroyed under the control of the Veterinary Quarantine Department (art. 4).
