Abstract This Resolution is composed of 6 articles giving the necessary requirements for Indian establishments which desire to export red frozen meat to Lebanon. Article 2 defines the following requirements and conditions for importation of meat from India: (a) registration certificate issued from APEDA (Indian Veterinary Authority); (b) certificate issued by APEDA identifying the export company, that shall comply with the integrated systems and with a mechanically equipped modern slaughtering-house with independent freezing halls close to the establishment, and a station for destroying the waste disposal; and (c) the analysis certificate of risks (HACCP). Article 3 deals with the obligations to abide to all conditions and requirements mentioned in Resolution No. 106/1 of 3/6/1998, especially the quality of meat (GRADE A). All Indian establishments, which fall within the aforementioned conditions and requirements, shall present a request for the registration to the Ministry of Agriculture (art. 4).
