Article 1 defines sanitary requirements and conditions for the importation of horse seminal liquid which are the following: the country of origin shall bee free from African horse sickness; donators horses shall be breaded in farms free from horse equine diseases; donators horses shall be subjected to analysis; farms of horse shall be subject to the veterinary control in the country of origin; and, the seminal liquid shall be prepared and conserved in accordance with the international sanitary criteria. The approval of the Animal Production Department and the Arab Horse Office is necessary for the issuance of importation licences of horses (art. 2). Full text Arabic
