Article 1 deals with the establishment and management of the Lebanese Register Committee for Horse Races and defines its competencies in particular: studying all Lebanese horse registers available at Horse Racing Club and verifying blood groups; proposing a clear mechanism for the registration of horses; proposing the establishment of a technical committee for racehorses and horses for mating and artificial insemination; laying down studies for the improvement of horse reproduction and the development of the horsemanship; and, laying down a clear mechanism for racehorses. Article 3 decrees the deposition of original registers of horses or conformity copy at the Animal Wealth Department-Animal Breeding and Production Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.
