This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the Statute of the Ministry of Women and Social Action, created by Presidential Decree No. 13/2005 of 4 February. This Statute, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of this institution entitled: to promote women empowerment in political, socio-economic and cultural areas; to promote family members protection and decision-making balance; to promote the assistance to vulnerable groups, in particular women, youth, elders, handicapped and other discriminated groups; to promote the coordination of governmental and non-governmental actions working in gender and social actions areas.
