It is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 deals with the delimitation of boundaries of Ayn Albayda Spring and entrusts the General Authority for Irrigation of Alyarmouk River to appropriate and management it. Articles 2 and 4 prohibit all housing, industrial, touristy activities into it’s boundaries in order to protect it against pollution in particular: irrigation of plants by the use of untreated sewage water; to gathering of refuses, solid wastes and organic materials; random use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers; and stone quarries.
