The Resolution enter into force on the date of its publication in Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 8 articles. Article 2 defines packaging requirements which are: material must be non toxic; it must be in compliance with commercial standards; labelling material is to be hygienic; the necessary information must be written clearly, etc. Requirements, descriptions of polystyrene packages must be in conformity with the Jordanian Standardization and Metrology No. 776 (art. 3). Requirements, descriptions and standards of plastic packages must be in conformity with the Jordanian Standardization and Metrology No. 931 (art. 4). Requirements, descriptions and standards of wooden packages are provided for in article 5. Requirements, descriptions and standards of cardboard packages are given in article 6.
