This Resolution enters into force on 28 May 2007.
Abstract

The aim of this Resolution is to control and certify fruit nursery plants, blossoms, buds and seedlings. It is consists of 9 articles, 1 Annex and 3 Forms. Article 1 considers the Documentation Centre at the Ministry of Agriculture-Agricultural Wealth Department as a unique adopted and competent authority for the attestation and certification of fruit tree nursery plants, blossoms, buds and seedlings. Article 2 deals with the administrative steps and procedures for submitting applications to the aforementioned Centre. Article 3 refers to control operations on the field by specialists and experts of the Documentation Centre. The Technical Committee for Attestation and Certification shall issue the Technical Protocols for Attestation and Certification in accordance with Resolution No. 49/1 of 10 February 2007 (art. 4). Article 5 charges the Ministry of Agriculture to grant the following labels: virus free; virus tested; qualified; and conform. Nursery’s owners shall inform the Documentation Centre at least 7 days before uprooting nursery plants in order to enable specialists and experts of the Centre to attach labels. Article 7 contains offences and penalties. Article 8 considers the attached Annex and Forms as an integral part of this Resolution. Annex I contains requirements and conditions for the attestation and certification of virus tested and virus free. Form I contains the control form. Form II contains the origin of nursery plants. Form III contains the bud form.
