Abstract This Resolution is composed of 8 articles. Terms and definitions (art. 1). The discharge of waste in the Territorial Sea and in the Exclusive Economic Zone as well as the importation and exportation of waste shall be prohibited (art. 2). Creation of a permanent committee into the Ministry of Transport composed of 8 members with the objective to implement the International Agreement on Marine Pollution Control is provided for in article 3. The above-mentioned Committee will carry out marine pollution control (art. 4). Issuance of licences shall be compatible with the international agreements and with Law No. 4 of 1994 (art. 5).
