It consists of eight chapters: General provisions (I); Obligations (II); Good practices manual (III); Primary production (IV); Requirements imposed on activities involving animal feed except for the primary production of animal feed provided for under Article 4 of this rule (V); Good practice of feeding animals intended for food production (VI); Import and Export (VII); and State Supervision (VII). The rule, among others, provides that the production of antibiotics and all additives constitutes an activity involving animal feed and therefore the business operator is subject to recognition and other requirements under law.
