Article 1 provides for the following: (a) already authorized poultry farms shall be subjected to the inspection whatever their production capacity is; (b) Technical Controllers can control not more of 4 farms; (c) poultry farms for breeding mothers and grandmothers with productive capacity of 20000 birds shall be subjected to the technical supervision and contro by a veterinarian and agrarian engineer, while farms with a productive capacity is less than that, they shall be subjected to the technical supervision by a veterinarian or by an agricultural engineer; and (d) the honorarium for the inspection shall be agreed upon by both breeders and veterinary surgeons or agrarian engineers. Agrarian engineers and veterinary surgeons shall obtain a previous authorization from the Trade Union for conducting inspection on farms (art. 2). Agrarian engineers should be specialized in animal production and have at least5 years experience (art. 3). Authorized poultry farms which have not undergone insepction have six months from the issuance of this Resolution to settle their position (art. 4). Agrarian engineers and veterinary surgeons shall report to the Department of Agriculture and Land Reclamation about breeding and sanitary situations of farms (art. 5). Full text Arabic
