Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 6 articles. Articles 1and 2 decree that the Chamber of Diving Tourism and Marine Activities is the technical responsible authority for diving and marine activities in Egypt and abroad, also it shall represent Egypt at the international organizations related to the aforementioned activities such as the WRSTC and EUF etc. Articles 3 to 5 define competencies and duties of the Chamber, in particular: to issue technical suitability certificates as a fundamental require for the issuance of licences for diving centers and other marine activities; to assume the technical responsibility for laying down and implementation of plans, regulations necessary for the security and safety of diving and marine activities; to investigate into diving and marine accidents; and, to offer technical equipment and services for the aforementioned activities.
