This Resolution enters into force on 6 January 1999.
Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. The Standardization No.2064 concerning the specific method for discovering the sulphur dioxide in vegetables, fruits and products shall be adopted as a Syrian Standardization and Metrology (art. 1). Provisions and rules of Law No. 158 of 1960 on fraud and deceit will be applied on every violation of this Resolution (art. 2).
