Abstract

The Resolution establishes the method for testing distinctness, uniformity and stability of new species of maize (Zea mays L.). The document consists of 12 articles: Regulated Object (1); Necessary materials (2); Testing (3); Methods and observations (4); Grouping of breeds (5); Characteristic symbols (6); List of characteristic symbols (7); Methods and explanations for conducting inventory (8); Stages of development of cereals (9); Additional information on methodologies (10); Description of method of isoenzyme analysis in maize (11); and Conducting examination (12). The Resolution is to be used for maize (Zea mays L.) breeds, inbreed lines, hybrids and openly pollinating breeds, except for decorative breeds.
