This Resolution enters into force on 1 May 2003.
Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Slaughtered and cleaned chicken or its parts shall be transported from slaughterhouses to distribution or sale places and centres according to the following requirements: (a) chicken shall be slaughtered in authorized slaughterhouses and under a sanitary control by hygienic means; and, (b) the parts of chicken like gizzards, kidneys and the like shall be transported in sacks made from polyethylene under a sanitary control (art. 1). Transgressors shall be punished by Law No. 158/1960 on repression of deceit and fraud and amendments issued by Law No. 47/2001 (art. 4).
