Abstract

In conformity with Law of 8 July 1939 on the protection of panorama, landscapes and natural localities, this Resolution decrees the course of the Addamour River a natural area submitted to the protection of the Ministry of the Environment. The protected area extends from the source of Assafa, tributaries included, crossing the zones: Kufr Nis, Silvaya, Ramhala, Ain Bal Valley, Beit addin, Ba'qalin, Deir Alqamar, Al-hammam River to the mouth in the Addamour River. The length of the area extends from the source to the mouth and the width for 500 metres from the centre of the course of the River in the direction of the two banks. The Ministry of the Environment coordinating with the Urbanization Planning Department defines conditions and requirements for permits and licenses necessary for possible works in the aforementioned areas.
