Abstract This Resolution is composed of 7 articles. Article 1 entrusts the Agricultural Crops Committee to approve applications for the importation of potato tubers, which should be submitted in October of each year. Articles 2 and 4 define requirements and conditions for the importation of potato tubers in particular: species of potato tubers should be registered at the competent authorities; classes of tubers should be limited to class E and upward; Volumes of imported tubers must be between 28 to 65 mm; and, freights must ensure the safety of imported agricultural consignments during specific dates and times. Article 6 deals with quarantine requirements and sanitary certificates. Article 7 lists names of diseases and pests which potato tubers must be free of them. Full text Arabic
