Abstract

This Resolution provides for the measures for reduction of extreme poverty and improvement of social protection in Georgia. It consists of five chapters: General provisions (I); Accepting an application (II); Database of Socially Vulnerable Families (III); Assessment of socio-economic conditions of families (IV); and Control, Supervision and Financing (V). The purpose of these rules is to form the Database of Socially Vulnerable Families with an established methodology. The database is for families who require social assistance and may become recipients of such assistance. The objective of these rules is to organize the process for creating methodological and technical basis to the database which will be used for a targeted and effective social assistance at the national and local levels.
