This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree approves the National baselines for regulating animal use for scientific and didactical purposes (DBCA). The National baselines, consisting of 9 Sections, aims at establishing principles of conduct allowing to guarantee the ethical care and management of animals used for scientific and didactical purposes. The principles established in these baselines are a guiding for researchers, professors, students, technical professionals, institutions, Ethics Commissions for Animal Uses(CEUAs) and all persons involved in animal care and management for these purposes.
