Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 deals with requirements and conditions for the issuance of environmental licences for olive presses which are: sites of olive presses shall be far from drinking water resources, rivers, lakes and dams; availability of hermetic sealed tanks for the collection of waste waters; availability of places for the collection of solid wastes; keeping of registers for the activity of olive presses; availability of adequate means for the transportation of waste waters; and , respecting the general rules and norms for the hygiene. Article 2 prohibits the disposal and drainage of waste waters in public waters, rivers, springs and sewage nets.
