It is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 deals with the delimitation of boundaries of Alkhatouneya Lake. Article 2 entrusts the Water Resources Department of Alhaska to appropriate lands situated in the boundaries of the aforementioned Lake. Articles 4 and 5 prohibit all housing, industrial, tourist and agricultural activities into it’s boundaries in order to protect it against pollution in particular: irrigation of plants with the use of untreated sewage water; collection of refuses and wastes; random use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers; establishment of stone quarries; and, establishment of installations for the treatment of sewage water. Article 6 charges the Water Resources Department to control, inspect and monitor all activities into the aforementioned area. Full text Arabic
