Abstract The aim of this Resolution is the protection of environment. The present Resolution is composed of 7 Chapters, 2 Annexes and 5 Tables. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the objectives and scope of environmental standards. Chapter 3 defines requirements and conditions for air and water standards. Chapter 4 deals with air quality standards. Chapters 5 and 6 lay down standards for air and water pollution sources. Chapter 7 contains general provisions.
