This Resolution enters into force the day after of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the importation of plants and agricultural consignments. The present Resolution is composed of 9 articles. Article 1 imposes importers of plants and agricultural consignments to obtain a previous licence from the Agricultural Quarantine Unit. Article 2 deals with the licence’s validity and revocation. Article 3 lists the consignments exempt from the previous licence. Article 4 contains the list of the prohibited consignments. Articles 6-8 specify the requirements and conditions necessary for the Sanitary Certificate of the Country of Origin.
