This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The purpose of this Resolution is to protect the environment by regulating and controlling substances that deplete the ozone layer. The present Resolution is composed of 17 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 lists the substances harmful to the ozone layer. Article 4 specifies the documents and procedures for obtaining a licence from the Environment Board for the importation of substances listed in article 2. Article 7 entrusts the Environment Board to prepare a time table for the gradual disposal of substances harmful to the ozone layer. Article 16 contains offences and penalties.
