This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the Regulation of the Consolidation Programme for the National Pact of Water Management (PROGESTÃO). PROGESTÃO ​is developed by the National Water Agency (ANA) in support of the State Water Resources Management Systems (SEGREHs) which integrate the National Water Resources Management System (SINGREH). PROGESTÃO aims at: promote the effective articulation between the processes of water management and regulation of its uses; and strengthen the Brazilian integrated, decentralized and participatory model of water governance. The Resolution establishes general guidelines, criteria and operational procedures. The Programme will be developed in five-year cycles. In order to achieve its objectives ANA resources will contribute through payment for the achievement of goals agreed between ANA and the States and Federal District.
