Country/Territory Document type Regulation Date 2023 Source FAO, FAOLEX Subject Fisheries Keyword Equipment Fishery management and conservation Fishing vessel Marine fisheries Monitoring Data collection/reporting Standards Abstract CPCs, who fish for species under the competence of the IOTC, and who choose to implement electronic monitoring systems in the IOTC area of competence to partially or fully meet the minimum Regional Observer Scheme data requirements, shall ensure that the implementation of their National Electronic Monitoring Programs and electronic monitoring systems on their flagged vessels meets the requirements of the standards laid down in the annexes of this Resolution. Annex 1 defines the terms and definitions pertaining to the implementation of electronic monitoring systems by CPCs, and sets out the objectives, purpose and roles and responsibilities in the IOTC Electronic Monitoring Program Standards. Annex 2 lays down the Electronic Monitoring System and Data Standards. CPCs shall ensure all electronic monitoring equipment installed in their national or subregional programs are consistent with these technical specifications. Full text English Website iotc.org
