However, the Director of Veterinary Service may authorize the administering to farm animals of certain substances for therapeutic purposes (reg. 5) or for zootechnical treatment (reg. 6). The use of the hormonal products referred to in regulation 7 shall be prohibited. Further provisions concern trade requirements and import requirements and related checks.
