Abstract This Resolution consists of 4 Sections divided into 27 articles: General duties of the Ministry shall include: carrying out studies and research, preparing and executing fish guidance, proposing legislation and laws in order to regulate and develop fish resources, encouraging investments, exploiting fish resources, cooperating with other Ministries, stipulating agreements with other states, and laying down marketing and storage policies (Sect. I). Duties and competences of the Ministry, Minister, Vice-Minister, Ministry Deputy and Cabinet are prescribed in Section II. The remaining Sections contain duties and competences of the General departments, common duties of the General departments, general principles in the organization and execution of the Ministry duties, and general provisions.
