Abstract This Resolution consists of 5 Chapters divided into 21 articles: Terms and definitions (I); Objectives (II); The division of Socotra Islands Group (Socotra, Samha, Darsa, Abd Alkory and all small islands) (III); Management and execution (IV); Conclusive provisions (V). This Resolution aims at the protection of biodiversity in Socotra Islands Group, preservation of the traditional methods and styles used in natural resources management, preservation of the protected zones, protection of rare species, and management of these islands with a correct and right environmental management (art. 3). The Head of the Environmental Protection Council shall issue the necessary regulations and resolutions for the implementation of this Resolution (art. 16). Full text Arabic
