Abstract

This Order provides that no new renewables obligation certificates (ROCs) are to be issued under a renewables obligation order in respect of electricity generated by a large onshore wind generating station unless the electricity is generated in any one of the circumstances provided for in this Order. It defines a large onshore wind generating station as an onshore wind generating station where the total installed capacity of the station is more than five megawatts. The new arrangements apply to generating stations accredited after a certain date or stations with additional capacity added after a certain date.
