Abstract

These Regulations amend for Great Britain the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2011 by introducing a mechanism which restricts access to the renewable heat incentive scheme if the forecast for total expenditure reaches a certain point. Applications and accreditations are restricted during a restriction period. The Regulations also concern the registration by the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority of a producer of biomethane for injection and the conditions which must be met where the application for registration is during a restriction period.
